You know, a friend of mine used to say that in DD marriages there are two types: Spankos and Spank-nos. I am unashamedly a spanko. (Well, after many years of shame, anyway.) Now, that isn't to say I enjoy punishment spankings--I don't. But I enjoy knowing that their are boundaries and consequences. It makes me feel like the world is a safer place, at least within my own four walls.
Anyway, while the world is talking about Angelina Jolie's "secret marriage" to Brad Pitt, I was thinking about something I heard at the writing conference. Bethany of Blushing Books mentioned that all you needed to do to get your book to really take off was to get Angelina Jolie to tweet about it! Who thinks I should send her a copy of "Love Heals"? LOL!
It got me thinking: is she a SPANKO? An internet search found neither confirmation nor denial, but the thought alone is enough to make me smile. If I were married to Brad Pitt...well. You know.
Now, for me personally, I didn't find Fifty Shades all that enjoyable. I was liking it--ignoring typos and poor word choice--until the end when she gets six with the belt and storms out. I was like, wait a minute, that's IT?! LOL. The Shade of Grey series, obviously, is considered BDSM which leads to interesting questions about what is and is not BDSM, which everyone will have varying opinions on. It's a subject for another day as I am getting off now. Fun chatting with you all!
