Good morning! Happy Saturday, all you spankos! :P
This excerpt features Callie and Kurt talking about the roles they're playing in the movie "How I Spank My Wife". Hope you like it!

I was caught off guard, once again, by his way with words. No wonder he was such a charmer, I thought to myself. He could talk about things that most men scoffed at, and with such earnestness that it took your breath away.

“And you want to know something? I am looking for my own Lori, for a woman who will accept me as I am, and be my best friend, my confidant.” I opened my mouth, but he cut me off. “And who, yes, accepts my correction, but knows that it is done out of all the love that I have for her.”

I couldn’t deny it, the man talked a good game. He now had me waffling on a subject that just moments ago I’d been ready to do battle for to defend my point of view. “That sounds nice,” I admitted. “But it’s just not real, Kurt. That’s why Richard is in a movie, not real life.”

After all, isn't changing her mind a women's perrogative?

Don't you just love those unexpected moments, both in books and in real life. Oh, that they happened more often. :)

I love how he's talking... and that final line from her about "that's why it's in a movie" :D
